Information about the position

We are looking for a forward-thinking Internal Audit Manager to lead our assurance area. Working with the Risk, Controls and Internal Audit team, you will be responsible for establishing ways of working, preparing audit plans, and delivering internal audit engagements. You will gain exposure to a broad range of business areas (incl. financial, operational, compliance and technology), becoming a partner who evaluates our processes and supports management. In this role you will work independently as an individual contributor, while collaborating with Risk & Controls specialists in the team. In this position, you'll

• Develop and execute a business-value driven, risk-based annual internal audit plan that aligns with our strategic goals and tech-driven operations.
• Lead the full audit lifecycle, including scoping, fieldwork, testing, and reporting, ensuring all work meets international professional standards (IIA).
• Manage outsourced internal auditors for all Vinted entities (incl. Vinted Pay).
• Identify root causes of control failures and provide pragmatic, scalable solutions to process owners and senior leadership.
• Act as a "critical friend" to the business, presenting audit findings in a clear, compelling way that inspires action and process improvement.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations, ensuring that the business successfully closes identified gaps.

About you

• Strong professional background in Internal Audit, ideally in the Technology industry.
• Professional qualifications such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) are strongly preferred.
• Mastery of internal audit methodologies and frameworks (IPPF, COSO, or ISO).
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis; experience with automation audit testing is a major plus.
• Ability to navigate difficult conversations with diplomacy and clarity, both in writing and in person.
• Adept at managing multiple audit engagements simultaneously without losing sight of the details.
• Excellent at communicating in spoken and written English.

The salary range for this position is € 4,325 - € 5,858 gross per month.
