- Solicits payment on overdue accounts according to payment terms within department's guidelines and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Performs in-depth analysis of returns variances and deductions; identifies source of issue and decides the appropriate action needed to resolve issue; complex issues could require coordination of several internal departments and/or representatives from clients/customers.
- Reconciles returns in accordance with approved guidelines and return policies.
- Maintains frequent contact with customers.
- Submits Short Payment Forms within the established customer repayment request submission deadline.
- Manages the Returns Accounts Receivable portfolio for assigned customers/clients; responsible for the timely collection of monies due from customers and the aging goals as planned by senior management.
- General knowledge of business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through a combination of work experience and completion of relevant college courses.
- 1+ years Collections, Accounts Receivable, Settlement Operations or similar experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
- Comfortable in fast-paced environment working independently or as a team member.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to details.
- Familiarity with collection procedures, A/R activities and very good reconciliation skill.
- Good analytical, conceptual, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
- Computer literacy and ability to operate effectively with MS Office, Outlook, ERP and Salesforce systems.
- Minimum Intermediate and preferably Advanced Excel skill.
