Job summary
We are currently seeking a new colleague to join our Algorithmic Trading and Research unit to develop trading strategies for flexible assets and optimise their value across electricity wholesale and ancillary services markets.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing trading and optimisation strategies for flexible assets across intraday, balancing, and ancillary services markets
- Translating asset characteristics (ramp rates, state of charge, availability, response times) into market-ready bidding and dispatch logic
- Optimising the allocation of flexibility between multiple competing markets
- Supporting portfolio imbalance management by developing strategies that leverage both centralized assets and large-scale aggregated residential flexibility
